Stamane il Derby County ha chiuso la trattativa per l'arrivo in bianco-nero dell'ormai ex giovane difensore del Forest, Kieron Freeman. Non è dato sapere la cifra del trasferimento perchè è stato impostato come "undisclosed fee". Sappiamo che il giocatore ha firmato un biennale con opzione per il terzo anno.
Il 20enne nazionale U-21 gallese è cresciuto nelle giovanile del Forest e può giocare o al centro della difesa o sulla metà campo. Queste le parole di coach Clogh sull'arrivo di Kieron:
"We're pleased to bring Kieron to Derby County and he fits the bill in terms of the type of player we are looking to bring into the squad".
"He's young, he has potential and we've been impressed with what we've seen of him."
Freeman, infatti, ha ben figurato nelle ultime due stagioni che ha giocato in prestito, una al Mansfield e una al Notts County. Ben arrivato Kieron!
